The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

Two years ago my Dave died. We were married our last year at Penn State and had 54 lovely years together, ten of those retired. Before settling in Sullivan County we had moved 17 times. At that point I threw away the packing cases and said,"No more Moves". I had taught 3rd grade 1 year at Fairfield Area School District and 3 years at West Rockhill El. in the Pennridge District. When we arrived in Sullivan County I spent 2 years as a caseworker for North Penn Home Services. Then I returned to teaching at New Albany El. in the Wyalusing District. My first two years there I taught Kindergarten. After that I moved to First Grade and remained a "First Grader" until my retirement in June of 1996. Now once again the packing cases are out. After 35 years, 9 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild, on July 4th 2009,I am moving in with my son Nathan, his wife Sue, and their boys,Trevor and Aaron. I look forward to being in a family situation again. May 15th,2009, I had the joy of seeing Grandson,David Kinsey 111 graduate from Penn Tech at Williamsport. Once again there was a David Kinsey I knew on the large list of graduates. So time marches on and now I look forward to days filled with family, friends, community, hobbies, pets and reading.
